论坛简介
中医药拥有数千年悠久历史，是中华民族在长期防病、治病的基础上积累和发展起来的一门独特的医药科学，为中华民族乃至世界人民的健康都做出了巨大贡献。
世界中医药学会联合会是经中华人民共和国国务院批准，民政部登记注册，总部设在北京的国际性学术组织，现任主席是原中华人民共和国卫生部副部长、原中国中医药管理局局长佘靖女士。目前，已有57个国家和地区，195个团体会员，其宗旨是增进世界各国（地区）中医药团体之间的了解与合作，加强世界各国（地区）的学术交流，提高中医药业务水平，保护和发展中医药，促进中医药进入各国的主流医学体系，推动中医药学与世界各种医药学的交流与合作，为人类的健康做出更大贡献。通过近些年的努力，“世界中联”已成为中医药国际化战略研究和推行中医药国际行业标准的重要基地。
“国际中医药发展高峰论坛（2010·澳洲）暨首届世界中联中青年专家论坛”是在以往的澳大利亚堪培拉国际中医药论坛的基础上，由世界中医药学会联合会主办，是在中澳两国政府的支持和帮助下，由致力于中医药现代化、标准化和国际化发展的澳洲健康之路发展有限公司承办的。由于考虑到在中医药现代化、标准化和国际化的进程中，中青年专家将担负着更加重要的历史责任，所以本次论坛除了在原有的议题基础上，拟邀请多名中医药教育、科研、医疗、保健、产业、文化中正在发挥传承骨干作用的中青年专家学者参加和参与，通过研讨和交流，探索出一条中医药产业现代化、标准化与国际化的发展道路。同时，本次会议还将凝聚中医药产业的中青年英才，搭建一个学术和产业发展经验的交流平台，为中医药产业发展储备高端后备力量，服务中医药事业发展。

Forum Introduction
TCM is a unique medical science that boasts a history that has been accumulated and developed over thousands of years. With theories based on prevention and personalized treatment, it has been used by both Chinese and international populations to improve and remedy health in a natural and holistic manner.
The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies is approved and endorsed by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and is registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The federation’s headquarters was established at the International Academic Organization in Beijing, led by President Ms. She Jing - former vice minister of the Ministry Of Health Of the People's Republic Of China and the former chief of the State Administration Of TCM Of China.
The federation encompasses 57 varying countries and regions, and comprising of 195 group members to date. The purpose of the federation is to:
· Promote understanding and cooperation among TCM groups internationally
· Raise the standards of TCM services
· Protect and develop TCM
· Encourage the application and accessibility of TCM to the mainstream medical system
· Promote knowledge exchange and cooperation between TCM and other branches of international medicine
The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies has therefore became the vital foundation for the establishment of International TCM strategy research and International industry standards for Chinese medicine.
This forum was organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and purveyed by Healthy Way Developments Pty Ltd, whom is committed to the development, modernization, standardization and internationalization of TCM to be held in the Nations Capital, Canberra. This forum will selectively display both young and experienced experts and scholars who are currently playing a key role in TCM education and scientific research. Culture within the medical and health industries will be discussed in relation to the exploration of industrial modernization, standardization and internationalization of TCM. The forum’s focus is on condensing, displaying and sharing the outstanding ability of featured professionals in order to build a knowledge and experience exchanging platform intending to increase the standards of services of TCM for both professionals and our patients.
